Overview :

The role of the Reliability Engineer is to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could negatively impact heavy equipment / mobile equipment or business operations. Conduct condition monitoring based on the condition of the Mobile Equipment unit. Also provide advice and suggestions regarding the condition of the unit and its repair strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Maintenance Management to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified equipment.
  • Responsible for complying with the Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process throughout the life cycle of new assetsParticipate in development of design and installation specifications along with commissioning plans.
  • Develop acceptance testing and inspection criteria.
  • Participate in the final inspection of the new installation. This includes factory and site acceptance testing which will ensure compliance with functional specifications.
  • Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintenance of safety/security equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and systems.
  • Define, design, develop, monitor and refine the Asset Maintenance Plan Maintenance and preventive duties for units that add operational value.
  • Effective utilization of other non-destructive and predictive testing strategies designed to identify and isolate reliability issues.
  • Provide input for a Risk Management Plan that will anticipate risks related to reliability, and risks not related to reliability that could adversely affect the operation of the power plant.
  • Develop engineering solutions for recurring failures that negatively impact plant operations. Assist and train maintenance team members as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Have min. 5 years of work experience as Reliability Engineer from reputed mining company + POP certified would be a plus
  • Ms. Excel geek and familiarity with Pronto and various software related work.
  • Well communicate in english, both oral and written
  • Willing to be placed in Wetar, Maluku with roster 6 weeks on-site and 3 weeks off (leave will be fully accomodated to PoH)
