 Account Manager (IT Services)

Our respected client, a Geography System Software company, is hiring an Account Manager to join their growing team!

Objectives:

Maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to one to five named customers, the Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company. The Account Manager reports to the Country Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
  • Develop and close new and incremental business across assigned segment to identify, qualify, create and execute account plans.
  • Responsible for revenue and margin growth; customer satisfaction, forecasting accuracy; customer/partner success.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

Accountabilities & Performance Measures:

  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
  • Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
  • Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

Requiresd Skills & Qualifications:

  • at least 3-5 years of account management, IT Solution Sales or Business Development experience
  • Having experience in solution selling process and account management for nurturing enterprise customer. Position as the customers trusted advisor for the long-term customer relationship and own executive relationship across the customer enterprise.
  • Exposure in B2B solution sales, strong passion in learning new technologies and ability to understanding and solving complex customers problems by providing detailed consultative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge and having good relationship with the assigned industry / sector market is preferred
  • Work experience for MNC or System Integrator will be an advantage. Adaptable to collaboration cross-functionally within large-scale department, to drive all aspects of the winning sales strategy.
  • Understand market, customer drivers, competition and regulatory environment is mandatory.
